The Worm Woman of Kalamazoo and IKEA

I initially hated IKEA as I first visited when I lived in London and anything in/around/about London I hated. But, since they built a store within the Metro-Detroit region I've been slowly growing to like the company.

Now, after receiving this link from a former professor, I think I have to love them. Commercial scale vermicomposting! I wonder if Ingvar Kamprad has read Natural Capitalism.

    Mr. Anderson-

An old friend just got done reading a healthy chunk of your blog. Congrats on the Peace Corps opportunity, and I'm wonderfully glad to see you're doing well. Take care, and please don't die of disease or get stabbed or anything like that.

Whenever I see plantains in the local Publix, I think about your dumps.

    Hi Dave,

Your old lane 3 friend, Emily Walton. Now Muttillo. It sounds like you're having a good experience with Peace Corps minus the scary dogs and parasites. Avoid undercooked pork. Give the dogs a good hiss. I can't wait to read about the projects you work on. It sounds like you'll be doing some pretty neat-o things. When you get back in two years, you'll be able to meet my baby! Well, I guess she'll be a toddler by then. Have a fantastic day!

    Hey Dave!
Having nothing to do at work this week I caught up on your Nicaraguan adventures. I can sympathize with your parasite...I picked one up when I was in Thailand.
Glad to see things seem to be going well! I think what you're doing is really awesome!
